01 / THE REASONING
Tate’s Notebook
An edge needs an explanation.THE METHOD / MATCHUP ANALYSIS
The space underneath. That’s where the analysis starts.
The deep ball gets the attention. Short releases, favourable spacing and defensive tradeoffs can reveal a different story. The notebook connects those observations to the case for a pick — and the case against it.
WHY I LIKE IT
Short completions can keep drives moving and create repeat scoring opportunities.
WHAT COULD BREAK IT
Red-zone stalls, offensive line injuries and a slower game script.
